Heart of the Community
Community Centre 55, otherwise known as Centre 55, is an agency of the City of Toronto and a registered charity serving the Beaches-East York community since 1975. We offer a variety of educational and recreational programs and services for members of all ages.
Centre 55 also runs a very popular summer camp program for children aged 5 to 12 years old; it is the lead organizer of the Beaches Santa Claus Parade; and has a long-standing Share A Christmas program, which donates grocery gift cards and unwrapped toys to local families in need.

Whether you’re seeking an invigorating workout, a soothing yoga session or unleashing your creativing in our art and photography classes, we have over 30 classes that cater to your every need. Children's Licensed Programs
Step into a world of creativity and learning at Centre 55’s Children’s Licensed Programs! We offer various Ministry-licensed child care options for families with children of all ages 18 months to 13 years. Our full time and part-time programs are staffed by qualified, knowledgeable educators that create environments for children to explore, investigate, and PLAY!
